The Healthy Working Lives Group at the University of Glasgow is working with the B12 Society to understand how people living with diagnosed vitamin B12 deficiency manage work and how their working lives are affected.
About the study
The study uses an online survey and individual interviews to explore people’s experiences of symptoms and treatment, how they manage day-to-day work, and what happens when they need time off or make changes to their employment. It also looks at workplace adjustments and the support people find helpful.
Sharing the findings
The research team plans to share a report and presentation with the B12 Society and its community. The findings will help describe the challenges people report at work and where workplace support could improve.
