Course details
This is a Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM)–approved distance learning course, designed and delivered by experienced Occupational Health clinicians and academics.
The course offers university-standard distance learning modules, providing flexible study options alongside high-quality teaching, expert academic leadership, and dedicated administrative support throughout.
Teaching & learning structure

- Access to a dedicated online learning resource centre
- Interactive learning activities and assessments, including:
- Bespoke workplace videos focused on hazard identification and risk assessment
- Simulated Occupational Health consultations to support practical insight and clinical reasoning
Exam preparation support
- Structured mock portfolio development
- Multiple-choice question (MCQ) summative assessments
- Dedicated guidance to support candidates through assessment and preparation
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 28 days prior to the course start date
- Refunds are subject to a 15% administration charge
- No refunds are available after this period
- Delegate substitutions are permitted
